1
LOCALIZATION OF MARKETING AND WEBSITE CONTENTS

Edimart was entrusted with a significant responsibility by a leading global LSP: to handle the translation and meticulous revision of website and marketing materials from English to Hungarian for their leading global stock media platform account
.

2
LINGUISTIC CONSULTATION

In addition to our primary tasks, we provided comprehensive linguistic consultation services. These services spanned from selecting the optimal translation among several alternatives to aiding in the choice of an appropriate name for a chatbot, ensuring alignment with cultural nuances and brand essence.

3
LAYOUT CHECK

Part of our responsibility was to scrutinize selected portions of the account's website, checking for both formatting and language correctness, and incorporating necessary changes into the translation.

4
LEGAL TRANSLATION

We translated and reviewed key legal documents of the account. This involved the Terms and Conditions, the General Terms of Service, and other related user agreement texts, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Challenges

During the course of the project, we encountered a few noteworthy challenges that required attention and adaptability. One such challenge was this partner's task management system, where assignments had to be accepted and checked out individually. The considerable volume of tasks initially demanded additional time and diligence from our project managers. Another notable requirement we faced during the project was the adoption of a proprietary CAT tool for translation and proofreading tasks. This particular CAT tool was unfamiliar to some of our vendors, necessitating a brief onboarding process to familiarize them with its functionalities. Quality assurance procedures were also conducted within this application. Lastly, we worked with an established client-approved term base, offering the opportunity to suggest modifications. However, it is important to note that any changes required the client's explicit approval, which ensured we maintained alignment with their specific preferences and guidelines.

Solutions

To address the challenges encountered during the project, we implemented several effective solutions. Leveraging Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) provided by the partner LSP, coupled with Edimart's meticulous analysis, played a pivotal role. The LQA process involved human linguists carefully reviewing translations and applying a predefined methodology to identify objective errors, categorizing them into distinct groups. This systematic approach ensured linguistic accuracy and maintained overall quality consistently. Additionally, our in-house language engineers developed browser macros that automated various processes within the task management system. These macros significantly reduced the time and effort required for task acceptance and checkout, optimizing task management and contributing to a more streamlined and efficient project execution. In the broader operational context, we also made improvements by processing and sending out Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices in batches. These enhancements facilitated smoother project management and ensured that our project-specific improvements were implemented effectively.

RESULTS

The collaboration for this global stock media account has yielded impressive outcomes. Together, we efficiently managed various linguistic tasks, overcoming challenges through innovative solutions. This partnership exemplifies the successful fusion of technology and language expertise, highlighting our shared dedication to achieving exceptional results. Our ongoing collaboration with this global LSP is a testament to our commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes that exceed expectations.

As you might know, your positive results also have a positive impact in the job deliveries we make to the client, so it means you have been a key factor in meeting the client's deadlines. THANK YOU!
