We use our primary computer-assisted translation (CAT) software, memoQ in each translation project. Software actively stores translated contents, saving time and money for our clients by reusing existing translations as opposed to translating the same content each time.
Benefits of translation memories:
- previously confirmed blocks or sentences can be automatically transferred into the new text
- quicker translation, shorter deadlines
- discounts proportionate to repetitions
- several translators and revisers can work on a larger translation project concurrently
The use of translation memories means it is no longer necessary to retranslate what has already been translated. Therefore, the translation workflow is streamlined, deadlines are reduced, fees are lowered – yet, the high quality our clients have come to expect of us remains.
Term base building
We also offer term base building services which we continuously enlarge, update and refine. Consistency with the term base is thus ensured even if two different translators work on separate pieces of translation or more linguists work on one piece of translation concurrently.
